Business Development Manager (WA)
Are you a Business Development Manager with a passion for relationship building? Are you ready to take the lead in driving growth in the motor vehicle loan space? This opportunity reports directly to the State Manager, with a primary focus on relationship building, education, and sales with a network of brokers and introducers.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Identify, develop and expand a broker and introducer portfolio, delivering excellent service and fostering robust relationships to stimulate car loan growth.
- Identify new introducers for accreditation.
- Educate and mentor brokers on car loan products guiding them through scenarios.
- Ensure regular interaction and brand visibility among your broker portfolio through ongoing communication and visits.
- Represent the business by attending professional development days, industry events, and company conferences.
- Ensure compliance with policy and high-quality documentation during the application process.
- Achieve sales targets and actively track and update your sales activity.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless loan process.
What You Bring:
• 5+ years of experience in banking or financial services
• Proven track record working independently in a fast-paced sales role
• Strong understanding of motor finance lending, credit policies, and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to close deals and foster long-term relationships.
• Proactive, positive mindset with a drive to achieve results.
• Current driver’s license, essential for this on-the-road role.
